Chairman of the board Stichting LustrumExcursies Francken (February 2019 – August 2020, 0.2 FTE), Organizing a three week excursion outside Europe for members of T.F.V. ‘Professor Francken’, where we visit universities and companies to get an impression of the world of Engineering Physics outside of Groningen.
Writer of ‘The Theorist’ column in the Francken Vrij (May 2019 – October 2022) , A popular science magazine of the Technisch Fysische Vereniging ‘Professor Francken’ distributed to its members, sponsors and other interested parties.
Organizer National Masters Information Day, a committee of Studenten Physica in Nederland (November 2016 – March 2017, 0.05 FTE), We organized this event for the first time and is now a yearly occurring event in the Netherlands where Physics students can learn which masters the Dutch universities have to offer them.
Chairman of the board T.F.V. ‘Professor Francken’ (June 2015 – October 2016, 0.8 FTE), Various activities for the Engineering Physics study association of the University of Groningen.
Tutorial Assistant/Mentor (September 2014 – December 2020, 0.2 FTE per appointment), Checking of exams/exercises/reports/homework to ease the work of professors on the one hand and provide study guidance by answering questions of the students on the other at the University of Groningen.
